From Las Vegas to the world. A story that began in 2001 with the Globe of Life™ — and continues with the cities we are building next.

Where it began

A globe for
all of humanity.

In 2001 the Globe of Life™ was presented to the City of Las Vegas — a monumental spherical landmark imagined as a global symbol of cultural unity, education and technology. It was the first spherical landmark concept ever proposed for Las Vegas.

Inside, a virtual reality journey through the past, present and future. Around it, holograms across the skyline. And on every continent, a sister globe — so that visitors in Las Vegas could reach the people of the world at any given moment.

The City cited no available funding at the time. The idea travelled anyway.

65tons — a rotating globe of art, science and technology
100bronze plaques depicting the most important moments in history
1globe on every continent, all connected and interactive
3acres — the sphere, an amphitheater and sculpture gardens
As described in Las Vegan Magazine™.

On the record

It was printed.
It is still here.

Two issues of Las Vegan Magazine™ documented the Globe of Life, in articles by Audrey Roberts. These are the original pages, photographed from the printed copies. Tap a page to read it in full.

The people behind it

Three names.
One vision.

01

Simon Sahouri

Publisher · Vision Carrier

As Publisher of Las Vegan Magazine™, Simon Sahouri gave the Globe of Life its platform, its voice and its credibility — carrying the vision to the City of Las Vegas and into the public record.

02

Audrey Roberts

The first public witness

Art advisor and President of Artv, Inc., Audrey Roberts wrote both Las Vegan articles that documented the Globe of Life — its architecture, its purpose and its global vision.

03

Lorenzo Quinn

The artist

Las Vegan Magazine named the internationally acclaimed sculptor Lorenzo Quinn as the visionary artist of the Globe of Life — its 100 bronze plaques a history of humanity in sculpture.

Chapter II

2023

From Las Vegas
to the world.

Two decades later, Las Vegas built The Sphere. Around the world, spherical landmarks have risen — from Singapore to Seattle, from Taipei to Dubai.

The Sphere is not a copy — it is the commercial and technological evolution of the architectural direction first introduced by the Globe of Life™. The world finally built what was envisioned in 2001.

This statement is not a legal claim. It is a recognition of visionary continuity and the evolution of ideas across generations and continents.

LVH AI
Robotic City™

Where the Globe of Life introduced the idea, and The Sphere proved the world was ready, LVH AI Robotic City™ is the next chapter — a destination where artificial intelligence, robotics, entertainment and human experience meet in a living, intelligent environment.

Inside AI Robotic City

Architecture that is
responsive, emotional, alive.

  1. 01

    Intelligent architecture

Buildings that respond, adapt and learn from the people inside them.

  2. 02

    Robotics

Machines working alongside people — on the stage, in the street and behind the scenes.

  3. 03

    AI-driven environments

Spaces that sense, and shape the experience around each visitor.

  4. 04

    Immersive entertainment

Districts where Las Vegas does what it does best — spectacle — with new tools.

A meeting point for the people and companies building what comes next.

  6. 06

    A destination with purpose

Carrying forward the Globe of Life’s spirit of education, culture and giving.

Legacy Statement

“Globe of Life™ was the first spherical landmark concept ever presented in Las Vegas — published by Simon Sahouri, documented by Audrey Roberts, and artistically created by Lorenzo Quinn. The Sphere is the technological evolution of that early vision. And LVH AI Robotic City™ is the future — the next chapter in a global architectural movement that began in 2001.”
